Ḥafṣ takes the top line; fourteen comparison rows follow, in al-Shāṭibī’s sequence for the seven and Ibn al-Jazarī’s for the three. Where a reader’s two transmitters usually agree, only the reader is named; where they often differ, both transmitters get their own row. A row with no divergence is dropped entirely — so an absent row means agreement.
Careful: the label خلف appears twice — row 9 is Khalaf ʿan Ḥamzah (beside Khallād), row 14 is Khalaf al-ʿĀshir, a reader in his own right. They are told apart by position in the column, never by the name. Likewise الدوري in the label column always means al-Dūrī ʿan Abī ʿAmr.
