Notes & justification
﴿وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًا﴾: إدغام كبير للسوسي: إدغام محض مع القصر والتوسط والمد، وإدغام غير محض بالروم والقصر. انظر مج١: ٣٩٤.
An instance of al-Sūsī's major assimilation (the tāʾ merged into the sīn). He has it as full assimilation, with the alif before the doubled letter held short, medium or long, or as incomplete assimilation with rawm, in which case the alif is short only. See vol. 1, p. 394.
